Charlotte’s LaMelo Ball sprained his left ankle Oct. 10 against Washington. Since then, one of the league’s most intriguing young players hasn’t played, and his recovery might delay the Hornets’ Wednesday start.
His brother Lonzo underwent additional surgery on his left knee, which terminated his season in January. Because Ball might be gone for months, the Chicago Bulls are considering starting Ayo Dosunmu.
